Ableton Live streamer for FREE
Tweeter
I just designed a max for live device in order to stream music into an Icecast2 Server.
Drop it in the master track at the end of your devices chain and … you can stream your music !
Easy & useful !
I designed it using the external by Olaf Matthes (check his website here)
I needed it because I’ll make a streaming live performance for Headphones festival on next saturday (july the 2nd)
Check LePlacard website for this event.
Check the LAB Gallery website too. It deserves to be checked

First, you have to know 4 informations from the Stream Server you want to use:
- ip address is the IP address of the Icecast2 Server
- tcp port is the TCP poty of the Icecast2 Server
- filename is the name of the current stream file on the Server
- password is the password that will authorize the connection of your stream to the server
The next informations are not necessary, but VERY recommander in order to offer to listeners your informations:
- ARTIST
- PERFORMER
- DESCRIPTION
- LOCATION
- TITLE
After that, you’re ready to click on CONNECT
If all is ok and the streaming has begun: the LED becomes green.
If there is a problem, the LED stay grey.
In that case, you have to verify your network connectivity + your parameters (1/) and you have to retry
