Thanks to my friend Beryann (Parker) to have pointed me to this video of Miller Puckette (one of the brain behind the core of Max & Pure Data, and specifically developping Pure Data branch)

Openframeworks & ObjC & libPD for sounds application workshop?

Openframeworks is a really nice .. frameworks!
I’m actually using it with pure iOS SDK.

 + 

The combination of those two is very powerful.
Especially, to have access to low-level stuff with C/C++ routines AND to high-level view controllers & UI bits is a real advantage !

Maybe a workshop about that in Marseille could be nice
Should I book the little conference room in Alcazar for “OpenFrameworks & ObjectiveC’s iOS sounds application design patterns” workshop ?

My M4_U feelings & report

I wrote “my” because I wanted to relate my feelings, my perception of this very great & unique event made in Leicester and at which I have been invite by Sean Carroll.
My M4_U started a bit late, because I was travelling.

Indeed, I caught my flight around 10h50, landing on Gatwick Airport, then took a train to St Pancras Intl, and then another one to Leicester.

the workshop

It was a success because there were a lot of discussions, questions, explanations, etc.

A VERY heterogeneous public, but very enthusiastic persons.
Really interesting.
I have to thank all of them a lot!

Special thanks to Michèle for communication/publication, to Denis for technical support & advices!

I met a lot of interesting/interested person.
With some of them, we’ll probably have projects soon.

I’ll probably design some others workshop around midibox, arduino.
